World of tanks gameplay

The player enters a combat on a randomly generated map while controlling one armored tank or self-propelled artillery vehicle of their choice.
The player can command the movement and firing of the vehicle as well as typed or spoken dialogue with allies and other players.
A straightforward random match is won by either destroying every vehicle on the other team or by taking control of their base by holding it for an extended period of time without being hit by another tank.
The gaming concepts are the same in other game types, however the fight rules vary.
The game mechanisms in World of Tanks include camouflage, shell ricochets, module damage, and personnel damage.

Random fights, team-training battles, tank-company combat, team battles, stronghold battles, and special battles are the six main types of battles that can be selected by players in World of Tanks.
Historical Battle and Rampage were once available options, but they have since been removed for improvement due to the negative feedback they received after their releases.

People can also join platoons, which are teams made up of two or three players, during random conflicts.
The game types also include missions that must be finished for a variety of rewards.
Up to 15v15 players may participate in a random battle; bots may be deployed to fill in any gaps.

World of tanks gameplay vehicles

The vehicles are designed to closely match their real-world counterparts; however, some aspects have been simplified or changed to better suit game rules.
Light tanks, medium tanks, heavy tanks, tank destroyers, and self-propelled artillery are among the game's five primary vehicle categories.
Over 600 armored vehicles from countries like Britain, China, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Poland, the Soviet Union, Sweden, and the United States are currently available in the game.
Players advance by competing in games in vehicles in a branch of each nation's tech tree, which features at least one branch of vehicles ranging from tier I (lowest) to tier X.
Outside of the tech trees, additional premium and collector vehicles can be purchased for real money or game currency.

Light tanks

The nightmares of the battlefield are light tanks, which scream across the battlefield and cause trouble everywhere they can.
They pursue the adversary at every opportunity while being lightly equipped and armored, as opposed to engaging them head-on.
They frequently serve as the team's eyes and ears, advanced scouts.
They outpace the lumbering behemoths by a wide margin.

They serve as the backfield watchdogs, preventing hostile vehicles from spotting ally artillery.
The ninjas who surprise the adversary by capturing their base are light tanks.
Light tanks excel at guerrilla tactics and love to put the opposing team on the defensive.

 Medium Tanks

Your phone will ring when your colleagues are requesting rescue, fire support, or holding down the friendly base.
The armor thickness, weapon power, and speed of medium tanks vary.
The medium tank commander must utilize cunning to make the most of his advantages.

Create a pack of three middling wolves, then take out the stronger foes.
To weaken enemy footholds, flank the opposition.
By leading an attack into enemy-controlled territory, you can turn the tide of the war in your team's favor.
The preferred mode of transportation for cavalier daredevils is a medium tank.

Heavy Tanks

The heavy tank is a wall of steel that is armored and battle-ready and is determined to strike the opponent directly in the mouth.
Go toe-to-toe without fear, even at close quarters, armed with a ruthless weapon and heavy steel armor.
Hold and secure the frontline.
Kill each combatant one by one.
Punch once more after reloading.

The heavy tank is designed to destroy the resistance; engage in direct combat with them and emerge as the last vehicle standing.

Tank Destroyers

The tank destroyer keeps a close eye on every target.
The key to your strategy is to go slowly while holding a large stick.
Using a powerful pistol and good concealment skills, lie in wait for your target: everyone.

Work together with partners to tempt hostile tanks into your area of effect.
On a battlefield, intimidation can be used to control entire areas.
Take down even the biggest villains with a single, accurate shot.
The tank destroyer counts the charred remains of its foes.

Artillery

The purpose of artillery is to punish the folly of the enemy.
Douse your enemies with hellfire and laugh triumphantly.
Observe the wider picture and make proposals for planned attacks or the repurposing of forces.

Respond to requests for assistance from allies, support offensive efforts, and destroy entrenched forces.
Enemies in groups will be afraid of your splash damage.
Your persistent but frequently invisible watchful eye is a danger.
